Grower Empowerment

Building long-term relationships that set growers up for long-term success

Resilience

Increasing grower resilience by encouraging and implementing more sustainable coffees (over 80% of Fulcrum coffee) - as defined by a mix of hybrid, lower-carbon, and organic coffees.

Equity

Estabilishing multi-year (at least three) financial agreements with coffee growers, in which they earn over 80% of the price paid by the customer - so they can be prosperous in the short and long term.

Business Operations

Implementing practices to alleviate environmental impact

100% Traceability

Developing a thorough understanding of where, how, and by whom our coffee is grown - through a system where “we know our farmers, they know us.”

Carbon Neutrality

Developing a detailed understanding of carbon output and energy use, while testing carbon offsets. Reducing energy consumption (75% renewable) through three targeted sources: roasting, delivery, and administration.

Programming

Using Fulcrum's resourcesand retail spaces to serve communities in need, with dedicated resources for at least three programs a year and ongoing subsidized for POC and LGBTQIA communities.

Making more environmentally sustainable solutions available to customers, without a high cost premium (less than 5%).
