Single Origin Highlight

Mount Kenya is an ecologically dynamic place, home to eight different types of forests and swaths of u-shaped valleys carved by glaciers. Established in the early years of 1956, the Othaya Farmers Cooperative is composed of about 15,000 mostly-female members. They are a progressive society, continuously learning about the best farming practices and coffee quality control. They also contribute some of the profits to help pay for the members’ medical expenses.

This coffee is juicy and sweet with coconut, peach, and pineapple notes. It’s a classic introduction to many coffees grown in Kenya. It yields easily-drinkable and likeable flavors that will open one’s eyes into the world of single-origin espressos.
