French Press Brewing Guide

French Press Coffee Method
  • Coffee: 40g
  • Grind Size: Medium coarse (Slightly finer than sea salt)
  • Water: 600g. 93°C/200°F
  • Total Brew Time: 4 Minutes
  • Yields appx. 2 cups
Set count-down for 4 minutes.

PREP

  1. Put 40g of ground coffee at the bottom of the French Press.
  2. Tap to even out the bed of coffee grounds.

IMMERSE

  1. Pour 100g water, then start count-down. Stir slowly for the first 10 seconds.

BREW

  1. After 1 minute, pour the rest of the water.
  2. Stir once every minute for about 10 seconds each time.

PRESS

  1. When timer goes off, press the plunger and decant.
