Aeropress Brewing Guide

  • Coffee: 18g
  • Grind Size: Fine (slightly finer than table salt)
  • Water: 240g. 88°C/190°F
  • Total Brew Time: 2.5 Minutes
  • Yields appx. 1 cup
Set timer right before the initial pour.

PREP

  1. Wet the filter in the cap and screw on.
  2. Place Aeropress on a vessel, then put 18g of ground coffee in the chamber.

IMMERSE

  1. Pour 40g of hot water over the ground coffee then start the timer.
  2. After 30 seconds has passed, add the rest of the water at a steady rate over the course of the next 30 seconds.
  3. After 1 minute of total time has passed, secure the plunger to the chamber but do not plunge yet.

PRESS

  1. At 2:00, start pressing down the plunger over the course of 30 seconds until you hear a hissing sound.
