Set timer right before the initial pour.
PREP
- Wet the filter in the cap and screw on.
- Place Aeropress on a vessel, then put 18g of ground coffee in the chamber.
IMMERSE
- Pour 40g of hot water over the ground coffee then start the timer.
- After 30 seconds has passed, add the rest of the water at a steady rate over the course of the next 30 seconds.
- After 1 minute of total time has passed, secure the plunger to the chamber but do not plunge yet.
PRESS
- At 2:00, start pressing down the plunger over the course of 30 seconds until you hear a hissing sound.
