Mountaintops Café by Fulcrum Coffee Opens Friday, December 7th

Visit us at the café to discover something new and experience something memorable. (Located at 590 Bell St. Hours: Monday – Friday from 6am to 7pm, and Saturday – Sunday from 7am to 5pm.)

Fulcrum Coffee’s first cafe, on the corner of 6th and Bell, was named after the 10′ x 40′ mural, Aside the Mountaintops by Bryan Alfred for Maharam Digital Projects, and reflects the expansive beauty of the Pacific Northwest mountain ranges. The inviting mural is contrasted by the seated views of Seattle’s vibrant and dynamically growing Belltown and South Lake Union neighborhoods. The driving passion has been to create a unique, inviting, and captivating space to enjoy delicious coffee and food.

The Coffee

For espresso drinks, we developed the Discovery Blend which reflects our journey around the world to unearth delightful flavors. We also feature four single origins on our Brew Bar headlined by the exclusive Obata MariaJosé. This new hybrid coffee from Costa Rica was over 7 years in development to create a sustainable variety that reduces environmental impacts of pesticides and water consumption. Grown on Blas Alfaro’s family estate in the mountains outside San José, Obata MariaJosé is juicy and mellow with Meyer lemon, strawberry, and watermelon notes – simply delicious.

The Menu

Our coffee offerings provide much insight into flavors and relationships. We wanted to continue that journey with a thoughtful menu of great everyday staples made with fresh, seasonal ingredients produced by local partners. Both breakfast and lunch meals are fixed with egg sandwiches and open-faced toasts, complemented by vegetarian and vegan offerings including house-made salads and muesli. We also serve a tasty selection of sweet and savory pastries provided by Fuji Bakery.
